As the tension between Prince Harry and the royal family continues to linger, reports claimed that the Prince of Wales, would not invite his estranged brother to his coronation. However, a new source has now claimed that William is letting go of his anger towards Harry, along with many challenges and troubles in his personal life as he turned 43. The Prince of Wales celebrated his 43rd birthday on June 21. According to The Mirror, a source told the Sunday Times that with the new milestone, he is also leaving behind several issues in his life, including his feud with his younger brother.

The future monarch’s alleged decision comes a few months after Harry’s public plea to reconcile with his family. In his interview with the BBC, the Duke of Sussex admitted to being aware of his family’s reaction to his tell-all memoir Spare and revealed that they may never forgive him. In his bombshell memoir, he also accused the father-of-three of physically assaulting him in 2019 in Kensington Palace over a disagreement. According to the prince’s friend, William was reportedly ‘burning’ with rage over Harry’s bestseller. But two years later, the situation has completely changed. The source added, “What has struck me the most recently is that he just doesn’t mention it at all.” The insider further opined, “It used to be that the family stuff was taking up a lot of space in his head; it was a very close relationship, and he was very upset. But he’s not letting it get to him at all anymore. It is a change. It’s sad, but it’s a much healthier space for him to be at.”

The Prince of Wales’ 43rd birthday is a new milestone as he had a difficult year with his father, King Charles, and his wife, Kate Middleton’s, cancer diagnosis. To make the day more memorable, Middleton dedicated a heartwarming message to her husband on Instagram. The Princess of Wales shared a picture of William playing with puppies and wrote, “Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!”

Meanwhile, despite Harry’s desire to reconcile with his family, no steps have seemingly been taken to mend the differences. A source told Page Six that the underlying issue is "trust", which makes their reconciliation seem like a far-fetched dream. The source said, “I genuinely think nobody trusts him and that’s the bottom line. The royal family has major trust issues with him, and that’s what’s at the heart of everything.” The insider further claimed, “They don’t trust him and Meghan, and that’s why they can’t have a relationship … maybe there’s room to forgive, but they won’t forget. Forgiveness and trust are two different things.” Moreover, some experts also believe that the reconciliation may take a few more years.
