Things have only gotten worse between feuding brothers Prince Harry and Prince William, who have allegedly not been on talking terms for about two years now. As the Sussexes continue to levy allegations against the royal family in interviews, William, in a new move of an alleged ‘display of power,’ has 'humiliated' Harry and Meghan Markle by 'poaching' one of their close allies.

A royal insider recently told the Daily Beast about the new association between the Prince of Wales’s Earthshot Prize and celebrity chef José Andrés. and claimed that the future King gave the Sussexes a taste of his growing power amid their ongoing dispute. The source explained, “José Andrés is a uniquely respected figure, and he was very much promoted by the Sussexes over the Covid years... The fact that William can just poach him for Earthshot is not just humiliating for Harry and Meghan. It is a very graphic illustration of the power differential between William and Harry.”

Andrés, the founder of World Central Kitchen, was previously backed by Harry and Markle in his efforts to provide communities with meals during natural disasters. As his foundation was the first one to receive funding from the Archewell Foundation in 2020, he lauded the Sussexes for running ‘toward the struggle’ and not just opining. However, as per the insider, when the chef was given the opportunity to join the Earthshot Prize, he chose to tie up with William. The source said, “Faced with a choice, when it comes to advancing the goals of his organisation, Andrés has chosen to be allied with the future king of England, and Harry and Meghan will have to either accept it or cut ties with him themselves.”

Upon joining the panel, Andrés shared that he was ‘thrilled’ to be part of the council. He said, “I am thrilled to join the Earthshot Prize Council to help showcase the changemakers pushing the boundaries of innovation and ingenuity around the world.” The celebrity chef continued, “In good times and hard times, I’ve seen firsthand the power of food to heal and unite communities... Food is the best way to address some of the planet’s most pressing challenges, and I firmly believe that we must transform our food systems to be more sustainable and equitable.” He dubbed food the ‘power tool’ for creativity and change that can inspire the world.

This is not the only instance of William allegedly showing the Sussexes their place. Many believe that he would also strip the couple of their HRH titles as he is agitated ‘with every bone in his body’ about Harry and Markle using the honor for their commercial gain. According to Cosmopolitan, an insider told the Daily Beast, “There is no way King William will stand for this. The titles will simply be removed when he is king. A way will be found.” As per reports, William is also unlikely to invite Harry to his coronation.
