Kate Middleton Makes a Secret Visit to London for a Cause Close to Her Heart
The Princess of Wales visited an organisation for a cause she has always spoken highly about.
Kate Middleton has always emphasized the benefits of spending time in nature for patients as well as young children. She has consistently tried to put her beliefs into practice through her royal engagements, most recently during a secret outing in London to visit Dose of Nature. The mental health charity focuses on a combination of psychology, connection to nature, and dedicated one-on-one support.

The Princess of Wales met Tom, a former Dose of Nature participant who now serves as a Nature Guide with the organization. He shared his insights on using the outdoors to improve one's health. The beloved royal is no stranger to treatment or healing journeys, having previously referred to being in nature as her “sanctuary” when she was being treated for cancer in 2024.
Revealing her sensitive side, Middleton reflected on how connecting with the natural world aided her own recovery. "Our journey has been very, very different, but it's so wonderful to hear your nature connection and how it's been so healing for you, and I felt the same," she shared. Following a months-long health struggle, the mother of three announced she was in remission in January 2025.

The Princess further appreciated him for providing a “sense of purpose, and meaning, and belonging” to so many people in the community by helping them connect with nature. She believed it had “longevity” and “sustainability.” Never hesitant to show her vulnerable side, the royal highlighted what makes nature connection a truly “holistic” experience. "Feeling like, almost without knowing what's to come, without having the control in your life of knowing what the future might hold, the fact that you feel that you can cope with things, because you feel that interconnection, I think that makes it holistic in a very true essence," she explained.
Earlier this month, Middleton and Prince William also made a private visit to Nansledan in Cornwall to learn more about nature-based learning in early childhood. She later shared her thoughts after the outing with everyone through a special video message on social media.

She previously expressed the importance of being in nature in early childhood after her two-day tour in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Touring local schools and centers in the city allowed her to experience firsthand how natural environments play a vital role in children's development, an insight she wrote about extensively in a heartfelt essay following the trip.
