Ira is a writer, film student and a national level track and field athlete. Along with plotting vulnerable personal essays and murder mysteries, she also has a keen interest in filmmaking (and roasting film students in reels). In 2024, she directed and produced, a short sports documentary, 'Athletes are Mad' that was screened and awarded at multiple film festivals.
