Prince William's Celebrity Lookalike Has Royal Fans Doing a Double Take: 'Twins'
A TV presenter’s throwback photo with Prince William leaves fans stunned.
The Royal Family has had its fair share of celebrity lookalikes, and it seems Prince William is no exception. A familiar face from the world of television has caught fans' attention for looking remarkably like the future King. The resemblance has even left some people wondering if the two could pass for twins. And as it turns out, this isn't the first time the comparison has come up.

The celebrity in question is presenter and adventurer Ben Fogle, who shared that people often confused him with William when he was younger and travelling. The comparison re-emerged after Fogle posted a smiling photo with the Prince on Instagram, captioning it, “When I was younger, I was often mistaken for Prince William. People used to stop me all the time and ask where my security were?”
The TV presenter’s 700,000 followers on his social media quickly pointed out the striking similarity. One comment said, “You guys look like brothers.” Meanwhile, another user wrote, “From the moment you appeared on Castaway, I've always said you're like Prince William.” One fan kept it short and sweet, summing up the resemblance in a single word: “Twins.”

The throwback photo dates back to 2010, when Fogle joined William in Botswana for Prince William's Africa, a documentary highlighting the royal's passion for wildlife conservation. Prince Harry was also part of the trip. Looking back, the celebrity shared a few memories of his time with the royal brothers, including a night spent camping together in Botswana. He said, “One of my most memorable nights was camping in the Okavango Delta with Princes William and Harry. We made a beautiful film, which is still available online, which culminated in me running the Lewa marathon for Tusk.”
Interestingly, William isn't the only royal to have a lookalike. Back in 2014, Fox aired a reality show called I Wanna Marry "Harry," where a group of women were led to believe they were competing for Prince Harry's affection. The man they met was actually a lookalike, and producers went to unusual lengths to pull off the stunt, staging fake security scares, hiring pretend paparazzi, and even photoshopping him into photos with William.

During Harry’s appearance at the Joe Marler’s podcast earlier this year, he revealed, “Originally, they asked me [to do it], and I wasn’t available, so … That’s not the worst that’s out there. That’s just one example.”
