Digging up a storm! The royal looked hard at work, as a little girl looked on.
"It was great to be in Bath today to see the work of St John’s Foundation, a local charity dating back to the 12th century," a message began via Instagram. "The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron of @stjohns1174, visited Roundhill Primary School to see the work the charity does to help children in need of extra support. 📚 In the library, The Duchess joined pupils who were creating a book about their school. 🌳 Outside, HRH helped to plant a tree as part of the @queensgreencanopy project, a UK-wide tree planting initiative to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee. In 2020, St John’s Foundation launched a plan to help disadvantaged children across the local area. It aims to equip children with the skills and level of education needed to thrive in their transition into secondary school. Thank you to staff and pupils of Roundhill Primary School in Bath for The Duchess’s wonderful welcome today!"
