The family has settled on the outskirts of London, where the children have begun their school schedule at a private undisclosed institution. The Sussexes have been associated with various charitable causes, and it is believed they will continue their endeavors despite the recent directive issued by King Charles labeling them as 'private citizens.' In a major announcement, the Duke has confirmed his presence at an international event in the USA this month, just days after their dramatic homecoming.
Harry is set to attend the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York City on September 22-23. This marks his second appearance at the event, which will feature high-profile figures and industry leaders, including Chrissy Teigen, Bill Nye, and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. Occurring alongside the UN General Assembly week, this meeting will address themes such as artificial intelligence and climate resilience, with the central theme being "How Do We Get It Right?"
Founded by Bill Clinton in 2005 as part of the Clinton Foundation, the initiative outlines "an affirmative vision for the future amidst rising turmoil, division, and continued cuts to government funding," according to People. The Duke had previously touched on the topic of online safety at the 2024 summit while participating as a star guest in a session titled "Everything Everywhere All At Once."
The Duke had left a poignant message about privacy while addressing the audience back then: "I stand before you today to speak about the pervasive threat that our online world poses to us, especially our children. If we allow the status quo to remain in an age where our lives are intertwined with technology, we cannot afford to only see the online world as a space for profitability, competition, and rapid growth instead." However, according to HELLO!, uncertainty surrounds Harry's attendance at the upcoming CGI. It remains debated whether he will be there in person or virtually.
