Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Their Kids Could Move to Australia as Duchess Lands Major TV Role

It has only been a little over a month since Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their kids moved back to the UK, and now it seems like the family may be preparing for another move. However, this time they will not be going back to the US.
Markle is reportedly preparing for a major career move, which could take her and her family back to Australia. The Duchess of Sussex is set to return to a familiar television franchise, just months after making a surprise appearance on the popular cooking show.

According to news.com.au, Markle is set to become one of the hosts of the next season of Ten’s Junior MasterChef. A source close to the production confirmed that the popular series will return in 2027, six years after its previous season. This time, Markle is likely to join the panel alongside MasterChef Australia judge Poh Ling Yeow.
The show will be shot in Melbourne, where the main series is filmed. The filming is expected to happen over several weeks in early to mid-2027, meaning Markle will have to spend a considerable amount of time in Australia. Hence, Harry and their kids could join the Duchess during her stay. However, no final decision has reportedly been made about whether the Duke of Sussex and their children will travel with her.

While the move might sound unexpected to many, previously it was reported that the couple likes the idea of living an international lifestyle rather than settling permanently in one place. In August, a source told The Times: “They might suddenly go: ‘Why don’t we try Canada for a while? Why don’t we try Australia?’ It’s one of the great things about being private individuals [that they can live where they choose]."

This would not be Markle’s first appearance on the Australian cooking franchise. Earlier this year, she made a special guest appearance on MasterChef Australia while visiting the country with Harry in April.
