Inside Archie and Lilibet’s First Half-Term Break Following a Whirlwind Few Weeks
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet finally have the time to relax and unwind after a few long months.
It's no secret that the last few months have been chaotic and confusing for the young Sussexes. From leaving their home behind in Montecito, California, and moving to their father’s homeland to starting school in the United Kingdom and having to switch within days because of security concerns, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet haven’t had a moment to catch their breath. Now on their first half-term break from their new school in the Cotswolds, the Sussex siblings finally have a chance to slow down and take stock of the past two months.

HELLO!’s Emily Nash opened up about the Sussexes’ likely holiday plans on the latest episode of the A Right Royal podcast. Addressing rumors that they might be returning to the US, Nash said, “There was talk about them potentially going back to the US. I think they're more likely to have stayed in the UK or gone back to Portugal, where they have a holiday home.” This seems like a great plan, giving Archie and Lilibet a much-needed chance to kick back and relax without worry.

Discussing the chaotic period for the young Sussexes, Emmy Griffiths noted, “Those kids are having a whirlwind, aren't they? First one school, then they change to another…” Royal expert Andrea Caamano agreed, highlighting the rapid pace, “I mean, they changed after two days! It was all in the matter of the same week!” However, speaking to GQ’s Zach Baron, Prince Harry made it clear that his children love their new school. He explained that having them in the British school system "has meant a lot” to him, providing them with "a whole different experience compared to the US.”

He added, “I think for kids at seven and five to be able to have that comparison and to have two completely different cultural experiences is so important today!” Discussing how they are settling in, the Duke of Sussex shared, “It's been nice to be close to friends, family, friends and friends and their children as well, to be able to have endless playdates to really, like, help our kids settle in.” Harry also expressed his happiness at having his family alongside him in the place where he grew up, adding how excited he is for Archie and Lilibet to share some of the same positive experiences he enjoyed as a child.
