Queen Elizabeth received an official welcome at her Balmoral estate in Scotland on Monday, August 9, and it looked like she couldn't stop smiling.

According to pictures obtained by the Daily Express, the 95-year-old wore a bright pink outfit with a matching hat, as well as black shoes and a black purse.

Even though this was the first time the Queen visited the estate without her husband, Prince Philip — who died in April — it seems like she was happy to be out and about and mingling with others.

One person wrote, “Our gracious Queen!" while another added, “Stunning pictures – what a smile.”

A third user said, "So happy to see her. She looks like a ray of sunshine!”

Last year, the Queen and Philip spent six weeks at the home, as they were isolating due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Between the drama with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and Philip's death, the monarch was happy that she is able to escape for a little bit of time.

“She could not wait to get away," a source told The Sun. “She is still grieving very deeply and wanted to head to Balmoral to escape from things. She is also incredibly tired.”

Despite losing her husband of 73 years, it seems like the Queen has been in a chipper mood lately — especially because she's been able to take on some royal duties.

"Anyone who knows the Queen or works with the Queen knows that she would take a little bit of time, but not a huge amount, to mourn her husband," expert Roya Nikkhah told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat. "What we really saw from June onwards was her carrying out a lot of activities."
