Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the Isle of Bute in Scotland for the first time using their Scottish titles, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay. The royal couple participated in various community-focused activities across the town of Rothesay. However, it was their coordinated autumn chic style that truly captured attention. The Prince and Princess of Wales have previously inspired fashion moments, most notably with their stylish navy blue ensemble for Commonwealth Day, and today's blend of high fashion and street casual was no exception, much to the delight of royal fans.

The royal couple, who recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, looked very much in love during the special trip. Middleton stepped out in a ribbed olive-green sweater, skinny brown pants, brown suede boots, and a classic chocolate Burberry trench coat, complemented by a snakeskin belt for a unique patterned touch. Her look seamlessly ushered in autumn fashion, establishing her as a trendsetter once again with her timeless style.

Similarly, William looked dapper in an olive-green jacket complemented by a brown sweater over a white shirt, styled with navy trousers and brown boots, Harper's Bazaar reported. Their itinerary included a visit to the Bute Shinty Club in Rothesay, where they attempted to practice shinty, an ancient Scottish team sport played with a curved wooden stick and a small leather ball.

According to HELLO!, William initially missed his first attempt before finding his mark on the second shot. Cheered on by the crowd, Kate also missed her initial strike. Taking advice to step closer to the ball rather than running up to it, she landed a clean shot and appeared visibly pleased with the result.

She later admitted her nerves to influencer Andy 'The Highlander,' saying, "I was a bit worried I was going to take someone’s teeth out." Meanwhile, William recalled something relatable before trying out his hand in the unique sport, saying, "We both played hockey at St Andrews and seen shinty but not played. It looks a bit bruising." Founded in 1946 and run by volunteer ex-players, this visit continues their engagement with Scottish island life, following previous trips to Iona and Mull.

The royal couple, who regularly document their charitable and royal engagements on their official Instagram, updated their account with a positive message regarding the visit. "Highlighting the power of community, connection, and volunteering," they posted on an Instagram story, underlining the core mission behind their trip. Meanwhile, their visit comes just as the Royal Family navigates fresh headlines following Earl Spencer's shocking allegations about King Charles and Princess Diana from his upcoming memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.
