William and Kate Burst Into Laughter After Photographer's Unexpected Request at Recent Outing
Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a hilarious moment after a photographer gave them an unexpected instruction.
Last week, Kate Middleton made a surprise appearance alongside Prince William to launch Kensington Palace’s newest initiative, On Your Side - a suicide prevention toolkit for people in sport. It was their first joint appearance after their wholesome Balmoral summer and dropping off Prince George at Eton College. And the couple, who always seem to create the cutest moments when together, didn’t disappoint the fans this time either.
Middleton and William were accompanied by stars like Gabby Logan and Jill Scott at Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool. The star-studded gathering assembled on the field for a group photograph, and the cameraperson’s instructions made way for an amusing moment. The photographer directed (via Hello!), “Slightly happier would be lovely!” causing the pair to burst out in laughter.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are no strangers to the royal life and the tribulations that come with it. A photographer giving an amusing instruction hardly scratches the barrel of difficulty, and considering that the royal couple enjoys a good dose of humor every now and then, must have enjoyed the light moment amid what surely would be an emotionally taxing event. And the cameraperson’s interesting use of words might have actually helped the outcome, as the group would have naturally grinned wider for the picture.
However, that was not the only cute moment to come out of the group photograph. There was an awkward reshuffle when the members began taking their places for the picture. With such a large gathering, it might have become confusing, as Logan ended up being seated between Middleton and William. It was then that the ever dutiful and possessive husband decided to take matters into his own hands.
“Catherine has to come to the middle!” the Prince of Wales directed, and his wife followed his guidance. Eventually, the couple sat together for the photo as everyone stood in their correct spots. While it was the pair’s first public engagement in days, it certainly won’t be the last as they are touted to attend the world premiere of Digger on September 22nd. William and Middleton, who are regular attendees of the BAFTAs, will certainly turn on their glamor quotient for the event.
