Prince Harry Will Be ‘Annoyed’ With Meghan Posting Photos of Archie & Lilibet on Netflix Show Set: Expert

Meghan Markle recently released Season 2 of her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, on August 26. As a part of her promo activities, on September 2, the Duchess of Sussex shared behind-the-scenes photos from the show, showing her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, enjoying time on set with her. Commenting on the pictures, royal expert Hugo Vickers believes Prince Harry has good reason to be 'annoyed' with Markle for sharing images of their kids.

Markle shared the photos on her Instagram, which featured Archie holding a filming clapperboard while Lilibet sat in the director’s chair, their faces tactfully covered. Chiming in on the same, Vickers told The Sun that Harry would not be a big fan of his wife posting their children, considering their strict stance on privacy for them. He explained, "He ought to be extremely annoyed. Obviously, I don't know what he thinks, but I think he does what he's told, probably." He also expressed concern for the kids, saying, "What worries me much more, to be quite honest, is what the children themselves are going to think when they get a little bit older and they realize how they've been exploited."

Weighing in on also on Markle's new Season, Vickers opined, "All the things that she does seem to me not to be the success that she would have wished for them. And therefore she keeps, you know, coming up with new ideas, reinventing herself, reinventing things." The expert believes that Markle using her kids to promote her show was 'wrong' and advised the Sussexes to look up to UK Prime Ministers on managing their children in the spotlight. He stressed, "You know, most of our Prime Ministers, the only time you see the children is when they're leaving Downing Street, when they sort of take them by the hand and lead them out, you know."

Echoing Vickers' claims, neuropsychologist Dr. Sanam Hafeez also claimed that the Duke wasn't comfortable with Markle sharing pictures of Archie and Lilibet on social media. She told Nicki Swift that Harry may be more protective of their children's visibility, simply because while Markle has spent several years in the spotlight as an adult, he's the only one to have done so as a child. "When someone spends their childhood in the public eye, they often feel like they never truly had control over their image. As adults, this can make them very protective when it comes to their children, wanting to shield them from similar experiences."
A source, who claimed to be friends with Harry, also previously told PEOPLE that the Prince is fiercely protective of his children. They explained, "He wants them to lead as normal a life as possible without the fear of kidnapping or harm. Harry is determined to ensure that history doesn’t repeat itself," referring to the death of his late mother, Princess Diana. Meanwhile, Markle continues to cover her children’s faces with emojis or photograph them from behind to safeguard their privacy.
