PRINCE George, the 13-year-old son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, made his debut at the Royal Albert Hall's Festival of Remembrance in 2025, but with members of the Royal Family set to attend again this year, could he make another appearance?

Clive Myrie will host the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, with an outstanding line-up of musical talent, including Alfie Boe, James Emmanuel, Mica Paris, Rita Wilson and Tom Odell. The audience will also enjoy stirring performances from the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment and the Bands of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth (Royal Band) and Collingwood.

Alongside the spectacular musical performances, members of the Royal Family, including the King, Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, are expected to attend the important evening, which remembers those who have served and honors those who continue to serve.

As Head of the Armed Forces, the King represents every member of the British Armed Forces. The monarchy's longstanding relationship with the military stretches back centuries, and His Majesty continues that important tradition. King Charles also has personal military experience, having served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force. This connection has continued through his sons, with Prince William serving in the Royal Air Force and Prince Harry serving in Afghanistan.

However, while several members of the Royal Family are expected to attend, questions remain over whether the Prince and Princess of Wales will join them, and whether their eldest son, Prince George, could make another appearance at the special evening.

Prince George, then aged 12, attended the Festival of Remembrance last year. Much like his recent appearance at an Aston Villa match, the young prince looked smart, wearing a poppy on his lapel and sporting a sweet comb-over.

Prince George has previously shown an interest in aircraft and the Armed Forces, while his younger brother, Prince Louis, has reportedly told someone that he would like to become a fighter pilot.

With this year's event taking place on Saturday, 7 November, at the Royal Albert Hall, could we see another appearance from the future King? Prince George is currently enjoying his school holidays at Eton College, making a possible appearance even more interesting. There is also talk about whether Princess Charlotte will appear alongside her elder brother and make her debut this year.

The young prince is expected to return to Eton College in Eton, Berkshire, around Remembrance Sunday, but that does not necessarily rule out an appearance at Saturday evening's Festival of Remembrance. Should his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, feel it is an appropriate occasion, George could once again join the Royal Family for the important evening.

There has also been speculation about whether Prince George could make his debut at the Remembrance Sunday service itself at the Cenotaph. However, with the service falling around the time he is due to return to Eton for the rest of the Michaelmas term and the run-up to the Christmas holidays, such an appearance remains uncertain and probably unlikely, given that Prince William didn't start attending until he was 22. It's also a long event for a 13-year-old, especially as he has to stand still for a few hours.

For now, whether George will join his family at the Royal Albert Hall or appear on Remembrance Sunday remains to be seen. Either way, another appearance from the young prince would undoubtedly attract attention as he continues to be introduced to the important traditions and responsibilities associated with his future role.
