Following their grand move back to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been working hard to settle into their new beginnings. In fact, they have also started stepping out to explore the area. The Duchess was spotted recently at the SOHO Farmhouse, just outside of London, where she kept things low-key while being introduced to the staff. Meanwhile, the Duke has been out and about in London, including a recent appearance at Tower Bridge Studios. He has also announced his first few public appearances since returning to the UK, stepping back into the spotlight with events including the WellChild Awards.

Furthermore, the young Prince and Princess have also started their new school and are well on their way to settling into their new routine. However, their relocation has also drawn its fair share of criticism. This has only increased following the official letter released by the Palace, under the guidance of King Charles, which reiterated that Harry and Markle are not working royals and instead, they are ‘private citizens’. More recently, the cast of the season 2 premiere of Saturday Night Live UK also took a few shots at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

But that’s not all; they also took some pointed shots at King Charles and Queen Camilla as well in the process. The episode’s skit was kicked off by Larry Dean and Emma Sidi, who played the King and the Queen. They were shown enjoying their vacation time at Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Dean exclaimed, “Oh, Camilla, nothing like a quiet Saturday in Balmoral. Clean Scottish air, dirty Scottish people … bliss.” Meanwhile, Sidi added, “I do so love our weekends away. No responsibilities — just like every other day," prompting a wave of laughter from the audience. The scene then took another turn when Jack Shep and Ayoade Bamgboye, who portrayed Harry and Meghan, walked in.

This is when Shep exclaimed with a wide smile, while walking in with Bamgboye, “Daddy, I’m home!” The sketch also poked at Markle’s cooking skills by showing Bamgboye gifting the ‘Queen’ a tray filled with ice. While doing so, she said, “It’s ice. I made it myself. I can give you the recipe. I’m kind of a wiz in the kitchen.” This was when Shep supported his ‘wife’ by adding, “It’s true. She hires the best cooks!”

They also poked fun at how the couple spent their Netflix money when fake Prince answered the question, saying, “Daddy, it was $60 million! How long was it meant to last?” In fact, they even made fun of the Sussexes’ reported reaction to the King’s letter. Overall, it was a playful yet savage take on the Sussexes, giving royal watchers plenty to laugh about, and they seemingly enjoyed every moment of it.
