Harry and Meghan take family vacation with Archie and Lilibet amid unfolding scandal
Trigger Warning: This article contains themes of child abuse that some readers may find distressing.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been busy settling into life in the UK following their recent move. However, the Duchess of Sussex has found herself dealing with another difficult situation after allegations of child sexual abuse material surfaced against her estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr. Amid the unfolding controversy, the couple have decided to take some time away with Archie and Lilibet for a family holiday.

With Archie and Lilibet on a school break, Markle and Harry have taken the opportunity to enjoy some family time away. The couple are still being kept updated on the allegations against the Suits star’s estranged father, even as they spend time with their children.
During an interview with GQ, Harry discussed how being able to send Archie and Lilibet to a British school was one of the reasons behind the family's move back to his home country. He said, “It's been nice to be close to friends, family, friends and friends and their children as well, to be able to have endless playdates to really, like, help our kids settle in.”

Markle Sr. is facing allegations of possessing child s*xual abuse material after his son, Thomas Markle Jr., reportedly raised the alarm over what he claimed to have found at their home in Cebu, Philippines. Markle Jr. is said to have handed four boxes of evidence to the police, describing the discovery as “sickening.” Authorities in the Philippines are currently investigating the claims.
Markle's friends circle claimed that the Duchess is finding the situation difficult to deal with, but she is holding up with support from loved ones. She has been deeply affected by the allegations, especially as she is raising young children of her own.

Markle and Harry are also keeping their distance from social media. Journalist Andrea Caamano revealed that the Prince had confirmed last month that neither he nor Markle personally uses the platforms. While the actress has two Instagram accounts, a team of staff handles their profiles and publishes content on their behalf, allowing the couple to step back from social media for the sake of their mental well-being.
