Prince Edward Forced to Step in as Andrew 'Drags His Heels' on Vacating Wood Farm: Report
Andrew's alleged obstinate refusal to relocate to Marsh Farm forced Prince Edward to intervene, but to no avail.
Despite the public exposure of his unscrupulous conduct with Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly refuses to acknowledge the problem. According to a new report, he remains reluctant to vacate Wood Farm, actively resisting a move to his permanent 'shoe-box-sized' home, Marsh Farm. His obstinate stance has, it is claimed, forced Prince Edward's hand, prompting him to intervene and remind his brother of his expected departure, though the effort eventually fell on deaf ears.
As reported by The Sun, Edward and his wife Sophie were forced to use a 'holiday let' at Sandringham for their annual Easter break because Mountbatten-Windsor refused to vacate Wood Farm for them. Despite Edward visiting his brother for a 'quiet word' amid fears he was 'dragging his heels' to move to Marsh Farm, Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly paid no heed to his advice. This forced the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh to stay in Sandringham's Gardens House, which costs up to $5,432 a week in the high season. It is located nearly 300 yards from the main Sandringham House, which is open to visitors around this time.
Weighing in on the tense situation, a source said, "Andrew was evicted from Royal Lodge at Windsor but now has two homes at his disposal. He is just going back and forth between Wood Farm and Marsh Farm. It's got to be sorted, as Edward and Sophie like to use Wood Farm." Another insider stressed, "Edward was meant to be staying at Wood Farm as he regularly books it for Easter, but his brother was there." Despite the Palace reportedly insisting that Mountbatten-Windsor's relocation to Marsh Farm would be 'imminent' by Easter, he remains temporarily housed at Wood Farm. Over the last couple of weeks, multiple boxes containing his belongings have been delivered to the residence, some still bearing his former HRH title.

A source told GB News, "Marsh Farm has needed rewiring and plastering, and there was even talk of asbestos... Meanwhile, Andrew wants the best of everything, and the process is painfully slow." Since the residence comes with a caravan, it could be the former prince's new home if he remains stubborn. The insider added, "The King would have no qualms about pushing him out of Wood Farm if it was needed for overspill. Andrew might end up sleeping in that caravan if he's not careful."
Meanwhile, the former Duke of York's preparations to eventually move into Marsh Farm are in full swing, despite his alleged attitude about it. As reported by The Daily Mail, cameras have captured men in removal vans carrying his belongings into his future 'shoebox-sized' home on the Sandringham estate. Some of the boxes containing his belongings featured labels carrying 'HRH office,' 'HRH sitting room,' and 'HRH meeting room.' Workmen have also been seen installing a six-foot fence and CCTV cameras to protect his privacy.
