Ex-Prince Andrew May be Forced to Live in Worse Conditions If 'He's Not Careful'
King Charles III reportedly needs Andrew's current residence to accommodate guest overflow.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been forced to leave behind his royal privileges and even his home after his arrest caused a massive embarrassment for the royal family. But shortly after moving into Wood Farm, he may need to make another move very, very soon. The former Duke of York had temporarily been living on the Sandringham estate after he was ousted from his 30-room mansion, Royal Lodge, last month.
Wood Farm, where Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is currently residing, was his father, Prince Phillip’s, retirement home. However, reports suggest that King Charles needs the five-bedroom farmhouse to accommodate guest overflow, and the disgraced prince will be required to shift to a new base soon. Andrew's next move could reportedly be to Marsh Farm, an agricultural property within the Sandringham grounds. It is a mile and a half away from Wood Farm. However, it is in no shape to be occupied at the moment.
The renovation of the dwellings is currently underway and has reportedly been a source of frustration for Charles as his brother’s demands are slowing down the process. A source was quoted by GB News as saying, “Marsh Farm has needed rewiring and plastering, and there was even talk of asbestos — it's not in a fit state for him yet. Meanwhile, Andrew wants the best of everything, and the process is painfully slow.” But there could be another temporary, far less comfortable solution to this problem in the form of a caravan, which is reportedly moss-covered and already present at the property.
Since Marsh Farm comes replete with a caravan, it could be Andrew's new home, if “he is not careful”. A source claimed, “The King would have no qualms about pushing him out of Wood Farm if it was needed for overspill. Andrew might end up sleeping in that caravan if he's not careful.” When the mobile home was initially spotted on Norfolk grounds, it was assumed it was for Mountbatten-Windsor's staff, but a source clarified to GB News that he “doesn’t really have any” employees working for him. Although the caravan is even worse than Marsh Farm, the 66-year-old has surprisingly taken a liking to it. “Andrew uses it himself, would you believe, and what's more shocking is, he likes it. He really is a changed man; he's enjoyed sitting in the caravan. It's novel for him,” a source said.
Mountbatten-Windsor’s move to Marsh Farm is the monarchy’s latest act to distance itself from him as much as possible after his connection to convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein was discovered. Last October, he was stripped of his title, and earlier this year, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The repercussions of his involvement in the scandal have reached far beyond him. There have been calls to take away the titles of his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.
Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Mountbatten-Windsor’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have been unclear. Her personal correspondence with Epstein was revealed earlier this year after a major chunk of the Epstein files was released publicly.
