Andrew Allegedly Holding on to One Royal Title Four Months After It Was Revoked
Paparazzi pictures show Andrew's belongings are labelled with one of his former royal titles, pointing to his reluctance to let go of the past.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who once enjoyed the full perks of royal life, has now become notorious for his past controversial actions, living his life in shameful exile. Speaking of which, preparations for his upcoming move to Marsh Farm are in full swing, with paparazzi pictures capturing removal vans shifting his belongings. Interestingly, some of the boxes are still labelled with one of his former royal titles, suggesting the former prince is reluctant to let go of his past.
As reported by The Daily Mail, cameras have captured men in removal vans carrying Mountbatten-Windsor's belongings into his future 'shoebox-sized' home on the Sandringham estate. He is temporarily residing in Wood Farm, one of his late father's cherished estates. Some of the boxes containing his belongings featured labels bearing the HRH title. Boxes carrying 'HRH office,' 'HRH sitting room,' and 'HRH meeting room' were seen. HELLO! also reported that renovations at Marsh Farm were almost complete. Workmen have been seen installing a six-foot fence along with CCTV cameras to secure the property and safeguard Mountbatten-Windsor's privacy.
The news comes just days after The Times reported that the police have expanded their search to include more serious offenses beyond Mountbatten-Windsor's alleged misconduct in public office. He was infamously arrested on his 66th birthday at Wood Farm and released after 11 hours of questioning. Mountbatten-Windsor was ordered to surrender all his royal titles and lease to the Royal Lodge by King Charles after his association with Jeffrey Epstein became too much to bear. As the son of Queen Elizabeth II, he was born a Prince and styled His Royal Highness, later becoming the Duke of York on his marriage to Sarah Ferguson in 1986.
Mountbatten-Windsor's bombshell stripping of titles places him in a historically uncomfortable category. The last case dates back more than a century, to 1917, when King George V invoked the Titles Deprivation Act to remove honors from relatives who sided with Germany during World War I. Even King Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in 1936 to marry Wallis Simpson, retained his 'His Royal Highness' style, despite his brother succeeding the throne. Along with 'HRH,' Prince, and Duke of York, Mountbatten-Windsor's positions as Earl of Inverness, Baron Killyleagh, Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, and member of the Order of the Garter have also been stripped.
