Meghan Markle made a cameo on Australia's MasterChef as a guest judge and cemented her popularity once again in the television circle. She even took up a video call from Prince Harry on set, much to the delight of the contestants and the audience. However, rumors swirled that tensions rose high during the filming between the Duchess and one of the judges, Poh Ling Yeow, over Markle's introduction. PEOPLE! had earlier reported that the Duchess team expressed frustration over her introduction in a promotional clip where the term 'royalty' was used by Yeow, stating, "We’ve had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before, but nothing like this." This was later dismissed; now Yeow herself has set the record straight by publicly revealing what took place behind the scenes.

Speaking on the popular Nathan, Nat & Shaun breakfast radio show on Nova 93.7, Yeow set the record straight: "If I got a buck for every time someone asked me about Meghan, I would be a billionaire. We had such a lovely time with her. She was a model citizen. Like, honestly, no fuss, hung out with us, didn't scurry away into her green room, just completely engaged with the whole process and like, knows her food. Nothing to complain about, at all!"

She added, "It's ridiculous. It's the first time anything like that has happened to me. It's been very eye-opening for me to see what she cops every day. It's really full on. A body language expert analyzed Yeow's reaction and felt she empathized with Markle. "Verbally, she probably pays Meghan the biggest compliment, though," body language expert Judi James revealed.

She further explained that Yeow displayed expressions of anger and disgust. Unlike her lively persona on MasterChef, the TV personality maintained a calm posture. While her facial expressions were dynamic, showcasing shock and disbelief as she refuted claims, highlighted by a frown and emphatic gestures, particularly emphasizing her assertion that there was "nothing to complain about at all." James further highlighted that, in the context of TV shows, celebrity behavior is contrasted between those who isolate themselves in green rooms and those who socialize. Yeow noted that the Duchess did not isolate herself and actively mingled, presenting this observation as a substantive fact rather than merely a personal opinion, AOL reported.

Similarly, a spokesperson for Network 10 stated that the MasterChef judges and Markle enjoyed filming together, dismissing any claims of conflict. A source associated with the show confirmed there was no tension between Meghan and Judge Poh Ling Yeow, nor any request for an apology, reiterating that reports of production intervention are inaccurate.
