Betfair believes that the child's moniker will be a nod to her grandmother, Sarah Ferguson, as that is a favorite with odds of 8/1. Anna and Emily are also in second place with odds of 10/1.

Since Mozzi is Italian, Maria and Rosa top the list with 12/1 and 14/1 odds, respectively.

"Sarah is the early 8/1 favorite, a nod to her mother Sarah the Duchess of York," Sam Rosbottom, who is a Betfair spokesperson, said. "We are tipping the happy couple to have an Italian flavor with their choice of name, with Edoardo's father hailing from Bergamo. The likes of Anna at 10/1 second favorite, Maria at 12/1 and Rosa at 14/1 suggest they could break from traditional British names usually favored by the royal family."

Ladbrokes is also predicting an Italian name, with Matilda taking the lead at 4/1, followed by Florence at 9/2.

"It should come as no surprise to see that punters are backing slightly more unusual names for the new royal baby given Beatrice and her sister's monikers," Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes said. "Matilda and Florence are proving popular names at the top of the betting, along with other Italian inspired choices such as Arabella and Giovanna."
