It's an exciting time for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who announced on Wednesday, May 19, that they are expecting their first child together. So, what will the couple name their tot?

The pair might choose to honor Beatrice's grandfather Prince Philip, who died on April 9 at 99 years old. Philip is the top name for a boy, taking odds of 8/1.

Other contenders include Marco at 11/1 and Oliver at 12/1. Henry (Prince Harry's real name) is at 16/1, while William is at 33/1.

“Beatrice and Edo’s pregnancy announcement is the fantastic news that royal fans have been desperate to hear ever since the couple’s wedding," a spokesman for Mybettingsites.co.uk said. "The latest betting suggests the baby will be born in October 2021 and if the odds are anything to go by, royal fans are convinced the couple is set to welcome a little baby boy."

"Beatrice and younger sister Eugenie have on numerous occasions spoken about having children at a similar time, to ensure their babies have a close bond — similar to what the two sisters have with each other," they added.

In terms of girl names, Sarah — which is Beatrice's mother's name — is a favorite at the moment at 8/1.

According to Betfair, other top names are Anna at 10/1, Emily also at 10/1 and Mary at 11/1.

"Royal Family fans will be delighted to hear the news that not long after sister Eugenie gave birth, Beatrice is pregnant with her first child — and Philip is the early 8/1 favorite in the boys name odds, in tribute to the recent sad passing of her grandfather. Meanwhile, her mother's name Sarah is 8/1 favorite in the girls list," Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said.

"We are tipping the happy couple to have an Italian flavor with their choice of name, with Edoardo's father hailing from Bergamo. The likes of Marco at 11/1, Maria at 12/1, Rosa at 14/1 and Alessandro at 16/1 suggest they could break from traditional British names usually favored by the Royal Family," Rosbottom added.

Meanwhile, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes added: "The latest odds suggest Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo will opt for a beautiful and traditional name with a nod to the latter's Italian roots, and as things stand it's Florence (4/1) and Theodore (9/2) leading the way in the betting."

"Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year," Buckingham Palace said in a statement. "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

Congrats to the happy couple!
