Sarah Ferguson Reportedly Offered Millions for Explosive Tell-All Interview — But Will She Take It?
Reports claim that an American journalist has made a lucrative offer to the former Duchess of York.
Over the last few months, the royal family has already faced massive backlash stemming from former Prince Andrew’s controversy, damaging the monarchy’s image. Even after he lost his royal titles and stepped back from public life, several senior royals, including King Charles, remain under scrutiny. Not just this, Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has also faced intense criticism after the release of millions of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Recent reports have revealed that a fresh royal drama may soon begin, as Sarah is reportedly considering sitting for a tell-all interview worth $2.45 million.
As reported by Sky News, an American journalist is said to have made a lucrative offer to the former Duchess of York in exchange for a candid interview about the recent controversies. Speaking of this, a royal source has claimed that if this interview happens, many well-kept secrets about some royal family members may come to light. Sarah might finally speak out about her connection to Epstein and reveal what she knew about Andrew’s involvement.
The insider said, “Sarah’s come out of shock and is now furious at what’s happened to her life. She wants to sit down and tell her side of her association with Epstein – and what she knew in hindsight about Andrew’s association. And she’s got a LOT to tell.” The source then went on to add that Sarah Ferguson could become a major problem for the royal family if more details emerge, saying, “She and Prince Andrew had an open arrangement, so if she goes down, they all [several other royals] go down. She’s not as stupid as she makes out, and she’s been diligent about holding on to evidence and memorabilia. Sarah’s going to become a real thorn in the crown for King Charles III, Prince William, and especially Andrew.”
Earlier reports from November last year also suggested that Sarah could choose Oprah Winfrey, who has interviewed her in the past, for a tell-all interview to share her side of the story. Back then, a source claimed that the royals were very frustrated about such a possibility, but there was very little they could do to stop her from speaking out. As reported by The Sun, the person said, “There’s a danger of her going rogue and saying things that could cause embarrassment for King Charles and Queen Camilla, or other members of the family.”
Another source stated, “Sarah is actually quite keen to answer questions as she strongly believes she’s done nothing wrong, and been harshly treated.” It’s worth noting that Sarah was deeply shocked when Charles decided to strip Andrew of his titles and push him out of royal life. The fallout hit her too, as she no longer carries her duchess status, and the pair also had to vacate their massive Windsor residence, Royal Lodge, by the end of January this year.
