Meghan Markle’s Half-Brother Named as ‘Person of Interest’ in Thomas Markle’s Case
The scandal surrounding Thomas Markle has further intensified with shocking revelations.
A few weeks ago, Meghan Markle’s half-brother reportedly reached out to authorities after discovering illicit material in their father, Thomas Markle’s, former Philippines home. The move opened a can of worms that became a full-fledged scandal within hours. However, reports now say Markle Jr. is also being considered a “person of interest” in the investigation.

In a press conference on Thursday, Philippine Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla revealed that the forces had received information from a witness claiming that underage girls had been brought to a residence connected to the investigation. “We have a witness (who says) underage girls were being brought to his house. We will investigate whether the son was involved in the crime,” Remulla said. However, Markle Jr. is not currently a suspect, and police are investigating his possible involvement in the horrifying case.
The Interior Secretary further added, “To accuse the father only is only half the police work. There are signs that point to the son being involved in the crime as well, but only as a person of interest so far.” Thomas has denied all allegations made by his son, calling them “sick lies”. His daughter, Samantha, has also supported him.

After the disturbing accusations against Thomas became public, the Duchess of Sussex released a statement saying the Met Police had received a letter several years ago detailing the allegations. That prompted her to keep her distance from her father and keep her children away from him. The Met Police then shockingly stated that they had not shared the information with relevant law enforcement agencies, a move that could have prevented further harm to children. The authorities reportedly misplaced the original letter, and the Duchess provided a copy. The entire ordeal exposed severe gaps in the Met Police’s handling of the letter in 2019.
Philippine authorities are currently investigating the matter, and if they decide to press charges, Thomas could be extradited from the US to stand trial. If found guilty, he could face 10 to 12 years behind bars.

Markle Jr., who for years had stood with his father in his rift with the Duchess, apologized to her after the scandal intensified. However, recent developments in the case have further complicated matters.
