Royal fans believe that Prince Louis is 'a spitting image' of Kate Middleton's dad, Michael Middleton, in the new Christmas photo.
Fans were thrilled when Kate Middleton and Prince William released their Christmas photo last week, and many pointed out that Prince Louis, 3, looks just like the Duchess' father, Michael Middleton!
One person wrote, "I think he looks a little like his grandpa (Kate's side)," while another added, "He's identical to his grandpa Michael Middleton."
A third person stated, "Louis is a cutie, spitting image of his maternal grandfather."
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte, 6, was also the star of the show, as many people noticed that she resembles her great-grandmother.
One person wrote, “What a handsome family. You can really see Queen Elizabeth in Princess Charlotte,” while another added, “Charlotte is such cute princess, she is a the mini version of the Queen."
A third person added, “Charlotte is the image of the Queen. Adorable.”
In the photo — which was taken over the summer in Jordan — Prince George, 8, Charlotte and Louis all smile for the camera. "Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card ?," the caption read.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family," a statement from the palace read. "The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year, shows The Duke and Duchess with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in Jordan earlier this year."
This year, the family-of-five will spend Christmas with Queen Elizabeth, in addition to Kate's family, expert Duncan Larcombe shared.
"I think we’re looking at three Christmases rolled into one for William and Kate and their children," the royal expert said. "There will be Christmas on their own with their kids, the more formal celebrations at Sandringham with William’s family and then time with Kate’s family, the Middletons."
