The comparisons between Meghan Markle and Princess Kate have long fueled royal headlines. After all, the competition between the Waleses and the Sussexes has been one of the main focus points for royal watchers. In fact, even the celebrated television personality, Megyn Kelly, is adding her own take to the debate by weighing in on the ongoing comparisons between Markle and Middleton. After all, as the Princess of Wales continues to receive widespread praise for her gradual return to public life, Kelly claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is struggling to watch her sister-in-law’s growing popularity.

With this speculation, which Kelly made on the latest episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, she has actually ended up reigniting speculation about the ongoing narrative surrounding the two royal women. The fresh buzz started circulating after Prince Harry and Markle’s recent trip to the UK, where their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, joined them to meet the monarch. While explaining the same, Kelly claimed that the Sussexes have allegedly realized that things aren’t working out for them in America. Apparently, they are done chasing the same and want to return to the royal fold. According to Kelly, Middleton has become “more beloved than ever,” with royal supporters rallying around her during a difficult year. She claimed Markle is likely frustrated by the obvious contrast in public perception.

While discussing Harry and Markle’s thoughts on the Prince and Princess of Wales, Kelly exclaimed, “They are watching the heir. They are watching Prince William and Princess Kate. Everything they touch turns to gold!” Adding to that, Kelly said, “William and Middleton are beloved and appear ethereal in what they do. They are universally praised for their behavior, their choices, the way they interact with people. She believes that these thoughts have allegedly irked the Duke and Duchess. After all, their work seems to be appreciated less by comparison

According to Kelly, Harry and Markle reportedly just can’t seem to stand William and Middleton’s popularity. Furthermore, she added, “And they are like, ‘We want another chance,’ and it would be best if they fold in and be like William and Middleton."

Moreover, Dan Wootton, the host of Dan Wootton Outspoken, also seemed to agree with her theory and was on the same page. As the Princess of Wales continues her measured return to public engagements and Markle pursues new opportunities across media and business, comparisons between the two are unlikely to disappear anytime soon. Whether those comparisons reflect reality or simply fuel ongoing public fascination remains open to interpretation, but they continue to generate headlines across royal news.
