Meghan Markle has allegedly sparked fury behind Palace gates with her latest Instagram post. One of the photos from her summer holiday carousel shows Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet at Althorp, during a visit to Princess Diana's grave. According to insiders, sharing the deeply personal family moment has rubbed salt in the wounds for Prince William and King Charles, who are reportedly upset that Diana's sacred memory was being used for social media.

On his Substack, Naughty But Nice, royal columnist Rob Shuter claimed to have spoken to various sources who shed light on William and Charles' opinions on the picture. He quoted one as saying, "William has always been fiercely protective of his mother's memory. He's upset, but sadly, he's no longer shocked by anything Harry and Meghan do." Charles, meanwhile, is also said to be taken aback. Another insider added, "The King is genuinely shocked. Even people who usually refuse to comment on Harry and Meghan are wincing. The feeling is that some family moments are simply too sacred to share."

Shuter stressed that for Charles and William, the issue wasn't that the Sussex family had visited Diana's grave; it was sharing the personal moment that actually struck a nerve. A source argued, "Diana's grave has always been treated as a place of quiet reflection. If that's where this photo was taken, many believe it never belonged on social media." Similarly, another sneered, "This has upset people who normally defend Meghan. The backlash isn't just coming from her critics anymore."

However, not everyone connected to the late Princess was unhappy with Markle. An insider revealed, "Earl Spencer knows every headline brings attention to Althorp. More interest in Diana's resting place is ultimately good for the family estate." Neither Kensington nor Buckingham Palace has officially commented on the photo, and Markle has not clarified where the picture was taken. While the burial site is not open to the public, visitors can pay their respects at a memorial located beside the lake. As reported by the Daily Mail, Markle, Harry and their children were given private access to the grave by Diana's brother, Charles Spencer.

Another photo from Markle's carousel showed her relaxing with Spencer and his wife, Dr Cat Jarman, in the background while petting the family's rescue beagle, Mamma Mia. Markle also shared images of the family enjoying beach outings in Portugal, with Harry playing with Archie and Lilibet in the water. Other photos show Archie behind an aircraft, and Harry throwing Lilibet in the water as her brother swam in the background.
