Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Has a New Lady Friend — And Their Story Is as Bizarre as It Gets

The question to ask here is: what's more shocking? Andrew having a new female friend or how they connected.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been exiled to Norfolk since earlier this year, has reportedly found a new lady friend. While the news in itself raises eyebrows, the story behind their connection is even more shocking.

Royal experts Tom Sykes and Paula Froelich recently discussed the news during The Royalist’s podcast. The latter had broken the news of Mountbatten-Windsor’s new connection on her Substack last month. Adding to that, Sykes mentioned that sources had told him how the woman got in touch with the disgraced royal. “Apparently, according to my source, she rang him up out of the blue and said, ‘You’re on your own, and so am I. How about we hang out together?’ And he bought it,” he said via The Daily Beast.

Froelich wondered if the two had spoken on video call, but Sykes theorized that it was most probably a telephone call as “it’s probably landlines in that part of Norfolk”. He explained how the lady knew Mountbatten-Windsor’s number, saying, “She had his number because they’re all mates through the hunting scene and through the posh scene.”

It is unclear who the new lady friend is or how long she and Mountbatten-Windsor knew each other. Froelich mentioned that people were initially skeptical after she first broke this news. And understandably so. A man who has been ousted from the royal family and stripped of his titles for his involvement in the Epstein scandal, and who was arrested this year, would likely not be considered an eligible bachelor.

“Are things that desperate out in Norfolk that some chick’s just gonna be like, ‘You know who’s hot? That doughy guy with the horrific teeth and receding hairline, creepy hands, who just did an amazing photoshoot looking straight up his nose after his arrest,’” Froelich joked. “What is going on with women in Norfolk?” She stressed that “loneliness is a curse” before expressing her shocked reaction at the news.

Things seem to be looking up for the former Duke to some extent. Along with blossoming romantic prospects, he was recently successful in quashing search warrants against him in the High Court. However, the investigation into his alleged misconduct while in public office is reportedly still ongoing.
