Prince Harry willingly stepped down from his royal duties back in 2020, but recent speculations suggest that he might be looking for a way back in. From his ongoing battle over upgrading U.K. security to his continued ties with various British charities, Harry’s connection to the country never really disappeared. Moreover, there have been more than a few coincidences linking his recent messaging with King Charles that do not make Richard Eden’s "Project Thaw" theory sound like a wild speculation anymore.

During the state opening of Parliament, Charles specifically mentions the growing antisemitism among other subjects while delivering The King’s Speech. He said, “My Government will take urgent action to tackle antisemitism and ensure all communities feel safe.” Mere hours later, Harry also weighed in on the situation through a lengthy essay published on the New Statesman.

Titled ‘My Fears For a Divided Kingdom’, he wrote about the rise of anti-semitism in the U.K., saying, “We have seen how legitimate protest against state actions in the Middle East does exist alongside hostility toward Jewish communities at home – just as we have also seen how criticism of those actions can be too easily dismissed or mischaracterised.” The following day, Charles visited Golders Green, where he spent time with Shloime Rand and Norman Shine, the two men injured in the April 29 anti-Semitic attack.

He also met with Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, the Shomrim volunteers involved in detaining the suspect, and members of the Hatzolah emergency response team. While speaking to members of the public, he was overheard saying, “It’s a dangerous world, isn’t it?” However, the timing of these events seems more than just a coincidence. Tom Sykes mentions in his Substack, The Royalist, that he reached out to Team Sussex to ask whether Harry’s essay had been coordinated with the King’s office, but the idea was quickly shut down. They described the timing as nothing more than a “coincidence.”

Nevertheless, it is hard to ignore yet another co-occurrence that appeared to be unusually similar messaging from father and son. Just weeks before Charles urged America to continue supporting Ukraine during his speech to Congress, Harry had made a remarkably similar argument at the Kyiv Security Forum. While the King appealed to the U.S. to stand by Ukraine with the same resolve shown after 9/11, the Duke had likewise stressed that America carried a special responsibility toward Ukraine because of past security assurances tied to its nuclear disarmament.

Coming back to "Project Thaw," according to Eden, there is an ongoing ‘plot’ to slowly repair Harry and Markle’s strained relationship not just with the Royal Family, but also with the British public, and the King is heavily involved. But there is a major roadblock to that plan, and it is none other than the heir to the throne, Prince William. Whether there is a secret plan going on to bring Harry back to the U.K., or it is just a big conspiracy, only time will tell.
