Royal fans are used to seeing the Wales children perfectly composed at official engagements, but Kate Middleton just offered a glimpse of something far more relatable. Speaking candidly during a visit to the Teenage and Young Adult unit at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, the Princess of Wales revealed that mornings in the Wales household are less royal routine and more music battleground.

The culprit? Three children with wildly different tastes. "Everyone wants different songs," Middleton admitted, describing the daily school run standoff. "George wants more rock. He loves AC/DC music. He plays the guitar. And then Louie wants Alex Warren." From heavy metal riffs to viral internet anthems, it seems even a future king can't get his playlist past a determined younger brother. The video of her sweet interactions has since gone viral on X. Though Middleton did not mention Princess Charlotte's taste in music, Prince William had already spilled the beans during his recent live interview on Heart Breakfast. Princess Charlotte is reported to be 'obsessed' with Taylor Swift, a tremendous fan of her music, and happy to have attended the Eras Tour. William also revealed that Louis has taken up learning drums, and Charlotte loves practicing the piano. The Waleses have a close family connection, and their children's music preferences add excitement to their evolving traditions. The musical choices of royal siblings offer a glimpse into their emerging identities.

William had earlier chatted with Caroline Mulvihill, a member of the Rock Choir, who revealed that they had discussed Prince George's love of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin at length. She found it fascinating that George shares his father's musical inclinations, as William earlier expressed a preference for a specific AC/DC song during a 2021 recording for Apple Fitness+, Women & Home Magazine reported. "There's nothing better than, on a Monday morning, when you're a bit bleary-eyed after the weekend and trying to get yourself back into the grind of the week, listening to AC/DC, Thunderstruck," William had reportedly said.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are known to be huge fans of Ellie Goulding. For their 2011 royal wedding, they had Goulding perform Elton John's 'Your Song' for their first dance, followed by 'Starry Eyed,' one of their favorite songs, at the reception. Ultimately, the musical preferences of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children represent a modern departure from traditional royal expectations
