Prince William gave royal fans a heartwarming glimpse into his family life during a recent visit to the Isles of Scilly. The future King sat down for a fun podcast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on 'Heart Breakfast,' revealing not-widely-known family details. Adding an extra adorable touch, William not only gave a shoutout to all his kids but also revealed a special connection between Princess Charlotte and the worldwide beloved artist, Taylor Swift, instantly delighting fans online.
Groggy and drowsy like most people in the early hours of the day, William stayed true to his professional commitment, appearing on the podcast. Noticing his heavy eyelids, host Holden jokingly promised to get him some caffeine and used the moment to ask whether he is usually a morning person or naturally wakes up early. William quickly admitted that he definitely is not a morning person, but added that at this hour on most days, he is normally busy with his “dad duties,” getting his children ready and dropping them off at school.
He further gave his children a sweet shoutout, adding that they would most likely be listening to the podcast as well. Host Theakston then asked whether he would like to share a message for them, and slipping effortlessly into full dad mode, Prince William jokingly replied, “Charlotte and Louis, because George is at boarding, that’s why. So Charlotte and Louis, if you are listening, make sure you are on time, please.” He continued, “Make sure you’re not fighting, and please listen to all this morning.”
Further on in the conversation, William also elaborated that just like every other home, it is chaotic in his house as well, with his two kids who are at home at this time. Every morning, the kids will be bickering and fighting, with everyone running around the home packing their things for either their guitar lessons or school runs. Talking about their snack, he added that his kids love jam and breadsticks, which is what they mostly binge on while sitting in the car.
Further in the conversation, William divulged that his playlist consists of several Taylor Swift tracks, thanks to his daughter Charlotte and even Louis, but it's the former who is a true Swiftie! Just last year, during Swift's Eras Tour, William even took Charlotte and George to the concert and revealed that it was indeed an incredible experience, and the vibe was truly fantastic. Inspired by Charlotte's love for Swift, Theakston played Opalite from the album 'The Life of a Showgirl' and dedicated it to the Princess.
