Another revelation about Sarah Ferguson's controversial friendship with Jeffrey Epstein has hit the headlines. The Epstein scandal, which dragged the monarchy into muddy waters, shows little sign of fading, instead reigniting public criticism. Now, a new report points to a shady booklet discovered in Epstein's home, referencing a mysterious 'Duchess from England.' Royal author Andrew Lownie suggests the figure could be Ferguson, placing renewed scrutiny on her conduct and her splintered existence.

On his Substack, Lownie mentioned a key witness who testified during Epstein ally, Ghislaine Maxwell's 2021 trial for sex trafficking. The proceedings referenced an interview with the former employee at Epstein's Palm Beach residence. In that interview, the witness recalled being given a manual outlining household duties by "a Duchess from England…supposed to be royalty." As per their account, the manual instructed staff: "Remember that you see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing, except to answer a question directed at you." The booklet, kept at the disgraced financier's Palm Beach home, allegedly included a checklist of tasks, such as leaving a guest a toothbrush and placing a pen on Epstein's nightstand.

While the documents do not name anyone directly, the not-so-subtle reference to a 'Duchess from England' has drawn attention to Ferguson, widely regarded as the only British Duchess to have moved within the disgraced financier's social circles. Weighing in, Lownie wrote, "She introduced her daughters to him, stayed at his properties, accepted money to pay off debts, and remained in contact long after his conviction for soliciting a minor in Florida. This account further suggests a relationship that went beyond social proximity and places Ferguson firmly inside Epstein's domestic life." He also highlighted claims in his book, Entitled, which alleged the former Duchess was rude and abrasive toward staff, often berating them over minor inconveniences.

Indeed, if the 'Duchess from England' was in fact Ferguson, then it gives merit to the many claims of her controlling behavior with staff at Royal Lodge. According to The Sun, the witness at Maxwell's trial also mentioned that employees were instructed by the supposed Duchess that "appearance is extremely important if high standards are to be maintained. A favorable first impression goes a long way. Personal cleanliness, good presentation, and a genuine and polite 'aim to please' approach are very important."

The recent revelations surrounding Ferguson's alleged involvement with Epstein's staff emerged just days after fresh photographs were released on December 19 as part of the Epstein files. One image showed the former Duchess seated on a couch in conversation with a woman, while another captured her posing alongside an unidentified individual outdoors. The Department of Justice confirmed that the materials were taken from evidence gathered during federal investigations into Epstein before his death, renewing scrutiny of Ferguson's close ties to him despite her repeated attempts to downplay the extent of their relationship.
