Zara Tindall has clearly inherited her mother, Princess Anne's, hardworking spirit. This was on full display at the annual World Horse Welfare conference at the Royal Geographical Society on November 21, which Tindall attended alongside her mom. There, she mingled with dignitaries, taking the stage as the charity's patron. After footage of her casually leaving the conference went viral, royal fans had one request for Prince William: to have Tindall take on more royal responsibilities.

Footage shared on X (formerly Twitter) showed Tindall munching on a biscuit as she followed her mother out to the car. It was taken after the event, where she touched upon her equestrian background and the decline in horse welfare over the years. In a video on the organization's YouTube channel, she stressed, "If we're talking about legislation and how we have gone back in time, sort of post Brexit, our travel time for horses and their welfare has definitely gone downhill." She added that something that "really needs to be looked at" was "the effects, the stress, and the welfare of the horses" while commuting, reiterating that the situation should be "much better than it is."

As the clip made the rounds on the internet, royal fans had a lot to say about Tindall potentially taking a positive role in the monarchy. A netizen gushed, "A better-suited duo for horse welfare would be impossible to find. Sounds like an ideal and fun day of duty and beauty combined." In a similar vein, another echoed, "Both wonderful ladies. Supporting the King as always." Additionally, a royal watcher mused, "Zara Tindall is her mother’s daughter through and through." As the comments poured in, another opined, "Equestrian leadership with real global impact."

Reflecting on her successful outing, royal expert Richard Eden also echoed that it would be beneficial for the Prince of Wales and a 'huge help' to him if he let Tindall take on royal duties when he became King. He told The Daily Mail, "Look at the way that Queen Elizabeth was supported so well by her own cousins, such as the Duke of Kent, who is still working at the age of 90," highlighting Tindall's potential to make a change. Although she rarely undertakes royal engagements, he noted that her 'impact' at these events is 'on par' with some of the Firm's most senior members.

However, royal expert Robert Jobson has previously argued that while William would consider bestowing royal roles, Tindall would not be very keen to take them on. He explained on HELLO!'s A Right's Royal Podcast, "Zara has been very popular. You'll see her at Royal Ascot, you'll see her doing her own thing. She won't want to be limited commercially by people saying, 'Oh, she's a royal, she's working. She shouldn't be getting this deal or that, too.' That would just complicate matters." The author believed that their decision not to be working royals would be an 'informal' discussion with William.
