William and Kate Won't Get 'Involved' in Harry and Meghan 'Circus' — but Will Focus on Two Other Things
Prince William and Princess Kate have two more important things to focus on than react to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to the UK.
There was a lot of speculation about how the royal rift would pan out once Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in the UK. However, the expectations of a full-blown family feud soon fizzled out as all the characters from the projected headlines settled in their own corners. The Sussexes crossing the pond may have created a temporary stir within royal quarters; however, ultimately, their supposed archnemeses., Prince William and Princess Kate have seemingly chosen to ignore the 'noise'.
As future monarchs and dedicated parents, William and Kate have a lot to look forward to. As royal expert Robert Jobson said to Hello! “They are on a clear path, and they’re thinking about what their future is going to be.” He further added that the couple was currently focused on two aspects of their life. “They're focused on the kids and their projects. They are on a steady path which leads to the ultimate job, the top job. Now they're next in line; they're facing what their position will be, and that will be essentially to prepare the reign that they want and how they want to do it. William will take the lead, but it's going to be a team effort,” he said.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are taking quite a load on both the personal and professional fronts and might not react to their estranged relatives’ return in the midst of that. “I don't think that, because Harry and Meghan are here making a bit of noise, that's going to necessarily make them do anything. They'll probably think, well, we've been down this road before; it creates a circus, and we're not going to get involved,” Jobson added.
The one thing that William and Kate are known for is the unity they have always displayed in public. Jobson believes they are “certainly stronger as a couple” as well as a “family unit”. Calling them a “united couple”, he further mentioned they were “very much doing their jobs”. The pair reportedly have a busy schedule ahead of them after a wholesome summer holiday.
“You only have to look at them in public,” the royal expert said, “They really haven't put a foot wrong. The way that Catherine has come back into the public eye was perfectly handled. They’ve got their image right, they've got their engagement at the level they want, and they're spending enough time with their kids.”
The Sussexes and the Waleses will both be putting on their parenting hats, as they prepare for a new school term. William and Kate are also expected to take part in the Sultan of Oman’s state visit to the UK in October this year.
