An unearthed video shows Meghan Markle discussing a brutal nickname Kate Middleton once had, arguing that what she faced was much worse.

Markle and Prince Harry didn't mince words when discussing the bullying they faced from the British press. During the Oprah interview, Markle drew parallels between her struggles and those of the Princess of Wales. As reported by Irish Star, she quipped, "Kate was called 'Waity Katie', waiting to marry William, while I imagine that was really hard and I do... this is not the same...and if a member of his family will comfortably say we've all had to deal with things that are rude. As the clip of Markle went viral on X (formerly Twitter), a royal watcher commented, “Speaking of 'rude', was it necessary to bring up the 'Waity Katie' thing? It’s hurtful ?????.” Another quipped, “Meghan stated she didn’t know anything about the royal family. Then how did she know Kate was dubbed as 'Waity Katie'?” In a similar vein, another opined, “Wow. 100% uncalled for.
