He would ‘take every stone and look underneath it’ while examining its structure. The insider added, “He's not afraid to dig into the details, ask the tough questions, and figure out what actually works today.” William is also believed to be “mindful of how much the monarchy costs," considering the sovereign grant of approximately $115 million accommodates the expenses of the royal household.
The insider claims that the future king’s priority would be to analyse whether the institution to which he belongs is still impactful. Unlike his predecessors, he would take the functioning into his hands and not delegate the management to courtiers for better organization. The confidant suggests that William will not play a passive role as the head of state, and rather focus on a more ‘private, robust, challenging’ approach to advice in matters.
