Kate Middleton, now in remission after fighting an undisclosed form of cancer, has made a strong return to public duty and has looked absolutely radiant at recent royal events. After stealing the limelight in an aqua dress at Trooping the Color, the Princess of Wales looked even more elegant dressed in white during the recent Order of the Garter procession. “She projected the confidence of someone who has enthusiastically reconnected with her public duties,” royal biographer Sally Bedell gushed recently. As the Princess returns to royal duties with full force, a friend of Middleton revealed that she is preparing for some ‘major shifts’ in the future.

Talking to People magazine, the insider hinted that Prince and Princess Wales, along with their inner circle, are preparing for the inevitable transition, William's accession to the throne. The friend claimed, “There are some major shifts coming behind the scenes... They are really finessing what works and what doesn’t.” Amid King Charles’s cancer battle, the couple is gearing up to take on their future responsibilities earlier than expected. Interestingly, Middleton is allegedly more prepared for what lies ahead than William.

Commenting on the same, author Bedell Smith recalled a saying by Queen Elizabeth’s mother, the Queen Mother, that described the position of a monarch and their consort as a ‘vocation’ and not a 'role'. This allegedly reflects Middleton’s current state, who has shown immense support for her husband after returning to royal duties. Middleton is known to be one of the most loyal royal family members who abides by the rules when it comes to protecting the future and reputation of the monarchy. Although her cancer diagnosis forced her to take a break from her duties, it did not affect her professionalism.

Ailsa Anderson, a former spokesperson for the late Queen Elizabeth, revealed how staying connected to nature helped Middleton fight her illness. She said, “She gets so much sustenance in nature, and she is lucky to have homes in some of the most beautiful parts of Britain: in Norfolk and on the Windsor estate... to reenergize herself.” The spokesperson added, “She is being sensible, listening to what her body is telling her and easing back into public life.” The Princess’s friend, in a similar vein, also reflected on how Middleton has maintained a balance between her recovery and family time. They said, “They were able to step back and reassess their priorities in all aspects of their lives.” William has also played a vital role in Middleton’s journey as he allegedly gave her the space she needed to battle the illness and bounce back stronger. Experts, as per Fox News Digital, believe the future Queen’s 'ruthless discipline' has resulted in a quicker recovery.
