However, one die-hard fan certainly didn't read the room when he spotted Prince William traveling with his entourage through the busy streets of London. As William passed by, the man loudly shouted his name, not once, but twice, in hopes of catching his attention. Sure enough, the Prince noticed his enthusiastic admirer, casually smiling and waving at him before the car sped away, leaving the internet in stitches.
In a hilarious video posted on TikTok, superfan @freddiemcewan is seen walking through London when he spots police bikes and a convoy of limousines cruising down the street. Knowing that William was seated inside one of the vehicles, he screamed, "It's William!" Still not done with his antics, he shouted once again, "Oi, Wills!" — instantly catching the Prince's attention. The text over the clip cheekily read, "Saw the royals today, made sure to keep it cool." After royal watchers stumbled upon the funny exchange, they took to the comments to share their two cents on William's cool reaction. A netizen gushed, "The fact he waved too 😭😭."
