Prince Harry and Prince William’s feud has led many to believe that the path to reconciliation for the two brothers is not easy. The Prince of Wales is allegedly unwilling to reunite and put aside his differences with his younger brother. Amid the rift, several royal experts have claimed Harry’s future under his brother’s reign does not look very bright. One went so far as to claim the heir to the throne would ‘banish’ his brother. Naturally, these claims did not sit well with Harry, and his spokesperson has hit back with a statement.

Recently, royal author Tom Bower, who wrote Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, described Harry’s situation to The Mirror. The author commented on the ongoing talks about the Duke and his father, King Charles, and said, “Whether they’ll meet again in Charles’s lifetime depends on how long Charles lives. I couldn’t say never because I’m sure Charles wants to meet his son, but so much depends on how Harry behaves.”

The author further commented on what Harry’s future would look like when his brother becomes the monarch. He said, “Harry is seriously worried that when his father dies one day, William will literally banish him and he will have no status in Britain at all. He will be persona non grata.” Bower’s comments on Harry and his future prompted a statement from his representative, who told GB News, “It’s funny how the people who know the least about him always have the most to say.”

The statement by the Duke’s spokesperson came after it was revealed that he is willing to invite his family to the 2027 Invictus Games. Many experts believe that the sporting event would make the perfect platform for the estranged father-son duo to reunite. Bower, who dubbed Harry ‘his own worst enemy,’ further opined that the Prince needs to prove he is still a part of the royal family by meeting with his father. He suggested, “Harry needs a meeting with Charles to show he is part of the royal family and to establish his credibility in Britain.” The author continued, “But as long as the Palace won’t give him access to Charles, he can’t take the first step. They suspect that the moment he meets Charles, he will use it to establish his credibility, because that’s what he desperately needs, and that’s also why he’s kept away.”

Meanwhile, a step was allegedly taken toward a reunion when both Harry’s and Charles’s aides held a private meeting in London. As William was reportedly left out of the meeting, it is believed that he is against the reunion. The Prince of Wales is supposedly adamant about not making amends with his younger brother, and the underlying issue is trust. Experts claim that the royal family is afraid Harry could reveal details of their conversation to the public, if it ever happens.
