King Charles Sent a 'Warning' by Leaving William Out of His 'Peace Talks' With Harry, Claims Expert

King Charles and Prince Harry's respective aides were recently spotted having a secret meeting in London.

Reports of King Charles and Prince Harry’s aides recently meeting for the first time have given royal fans a ray of hope as they await a reconciliation. However, this may not please Prince William as experts believe he is unlikely to forgive his younger brother. As the Prince of Wales was allegedly also left out of the 'secret summit' between Charles and Harry’s respective aides, experts believe William was sending a 'warning shot'.

Months after Harry’s public plea to reconcile with his father in his BBC interview, their aides met in London, in what appears to be an olive branch. Commenting on the same, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner has claimed that William’s aides were intentionally left out. The expert told Fox News, “The important issue is that Prince William and his representatives were not invited.” Turner chimed in what this move could mean and said, “I feel that this was a warning shot across William’s bows that Charles is King, not him …It may also be a stark warning that Charles will decide what happens during his reign, not William.” The expert continued, “It is a sign from King Charles that he wants peace with Harry and Meghan and to meet his grandchildren.” However, another expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, has claimed that William was likely aware of the secret meeting and chose to stay out of it.

The expert believes the monarch, who is still battling an undisclosed type of cancer, wishes to build a bond with Harry and Meghan Markle’s children. But a lack of trust in the Sussexes is likely stopping William. Sharing his views on the situation, Fitzwilliams said, “He wants a relationship with his grandchildren, whom he has hardly met. He is also temperamentally more accommodating than William. But [William] cannot trust the Sussexes. They must know it. The prospect of seeing the Sussexes at royal events would enrage the monarchy’s loyal supporters… Of course, reconciliation is desirable [for the King]. It would, however, come at a price.” Meanwhile, expert Helena Chard claimed that the reunion would be good from a ‘positive private family stance.’ Chard further opined, “King Charles will always love his son, and, in light of the King's ongoing cancer treatment, it could help tidy up the messy, fractured relationship.”

Interestingly, a source close to Harry recently revealed his intentions of inviting his estranged family to the Invictus Games 2027, which is set to be held in Birmingham. This is likely to have culminated in the two parties meeting in London. According to the Daily Mail, Harry’s chief of staff and communications director, Meredith Maines, met with Charles’s communications secretary, Tobyn Andreae. The two were also joined by Liam Maquire, who looks after the Sussexes’ UK press. The aides were photographed in the city with a source claiming, “There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.” However, it did open a ‘channel of communication’ between Harry and his feuding father. When it comes to William, experts believe an apology from Harry could be the beginning of their reconciliation.
