King Charles Offers a ‘Show of Support’ for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson Amid Latest Controversy

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have recently been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after a bombshell new book exposed their alleged questionable life choices. While Andrew has maintained a notably low profile, Ferguson has subtly defused the noise by channeling the royal family’s ‘never complain, never explain’ mantra in public. Amid the ongoing scandal, a source revealed King Charles’s stance and claimed the monarch has shown his support for the disgraced Duke and Duchess of York by inviting them to spend the summers at Balmoral.

Andrew and Ferguson reportedly arrived at Balmoral Castle just days after the release of royal author Andrew Lownie’s scathing biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York. A source told The Sun, "The Balmoral invitation is a huge show of support." Their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are expected to join them soon with their young children. Other royals set to arrive at the country retreat include Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children, as well as Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie. The estate offers the royals a private summer break together, away from the spotlight.

While Charles may have allowed Andrew and Ferguson to spend the summer break at Balmoal, he reportedly had a stern warning for the Duke of York. As reported by The Mirror, Ephraim Hardcastle of The Daily Mail revealed, "As the King returns to Scotland for his summer break, my mole reports Prince Andrew is still on the guest list for a Balmoral holiday." He added, "But, with Trump's second thoughts about releasing documents, Andrew's anxiety continues. It hasn't helped that he has received a reminder from the King that events don't allow him to return to royal duty." The documents refer to Jeffrey Epstein's alleged 'client list', rumored to contain blackmail material on his many high-profile clients.

Ahead of his book’s explosive release, Lownie issued a warning to Charles to brace for further revelations about his embattled brother and sister-in-law. Speaking to the Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential newsletter, Lownie cautioned, "I would keep the whole York family at a distance. Fergie should not be invited to events, and the daughters should not be made working royals. I believe there are more scandals to emerge." In his book, he painstakingly described the Duke’s crude conversations about women, his controversial ties with Epstein, and the Duchess’s financial woes after her divorce.
As for Charles's relationship with Andrew, royal expert Richard Eden claimed the King is keeping a 'distance' from his brother. He penned in the Daily Mail, "'Andrew arrived at Balmoral on Friday,' a source on Royal Deeside tells me. 'He was on his own, with none of the security he used to have. He is believed to be staying at a lodge on the estate.'" Although Charles received his welcome at the Castle, the source revealed the monarch will continue to spend much of his holiday at Birkhall, his retreat on the Balmoral estate. The insider added, "It remains to be seen whether Andrew spends any time at all with his brother."
