Harry and Meghan’s Latest Moves Are Pushing William Closer to Stripping Titles, Claims TV Host

The TalkTV host dismissed reconciliation rumours, claiming William is preparing decisive action.

The tensions inside the royal family have now hit a boiling point, and Prince William’s patience continues to wear thin. According to TalkTV host Mark Dolan, the Prince of Wales may be closer than ever to delivering what he calls the ‘ultimate sanction’ against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Dolan developed his case in a fiery monologue on YouTube, insisting that this isn’t about personal grievance.

In his view, William is “protecting the interests of the Crown,” and the catalyst, he claims, is the Sussexes’ alleged attempt to stage what looks like a ‘royal tour’ of Australia, Express reported. And to him, it apparently means a refusal to step away from royal branding even years after leaving official duties. “They want to be Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They want fancy monogrammed symbols on their letters. Meghan wants HRH on gift packages,” he said, arguing that their conduct echoes people who “never truly left the Royal Family. This was a divorce in name only.”

For Dolan, the recent uptick in the couple’s appearances is deliberate and strategic. He says it's opportunistic. “What this looks like is a last-minute cash grab, land grab, and intellectual property grab before the inevitable, before the axe falls,” he said. The pressure point, according to Dolan, came with Harry’s surprise visit to Canada. He claims William’s team was ‘left enraged’, particularly because the trip coincided with the Prince of Wales’s Earthshot commitments in Brazil. Dolan accused Harry’s camp of spreading misinformation by insisting the palace had been notified, calling the appearance ‘another big fat lie.’

According to him, the optics only made things worse. “Harry siphoned media attention away from William’s environmental event. And people are seriously trying to claim a peace deal is coming? Do me a favour,” he said. Dolan openly mocked reports suggesting William is ready to patch things up. “Are you laughing? Are you out of your tiny, tiny mind? It ain’t going to happen,” he said. Referencing a HeatWorld piece, claiming that Harry and Meghan’s latest decisions have “inflamed things more,” pushing William closer to finalising a plan to “strip Harry and Meghan of their titles. There’s no maybe. Not if — when.”

Dolan also addressed suggestions that Harry is confused by the backlash surrounding his public support for Commonwealth veterans. Harry, reportedly, finds it 'sad' that his brother is upset by his participation. Dolan's response? “Well, either Harry is incredibly ignorant, or he’s lying. Again.”

This sits in contrast to an earlier account from former palace photographer Ian Pelham Turner, who painted a far different picture. Speaking to The Mirror, he said conversations between King Charles and Prince William have shifted into a “more pragmatic phase.” In his view, the King’s health has accelerated everything. “My feeling at the moment is because of Charles’s cancer diagnosis that all these negotiations, perhaps, for example, with Harry have been accelerated,” he explained.

Charles’s undisclosed cancer, confirmed in early 2024, has forced both father and heir to look ahead, not just at the state of the monarchy, but at the people who will carry it forward. Pelham Turner suggested this recalibration didn’t unfold overnight, but has been building over for sometime.
