Harriet Philips Is Following Princess Kate's Stylebook ― and Her Wimbledon Look Just Proved It
Harriet Phillips once again echoed the Princess of Wales' polished fashion sense with a sophisticated Wimbledon look.
Harriet Philips has refined her style to reflect a polished aesthetic, attracting the attention of royal fashion observers ever since she entered the royal fold after her wedding to Peter Philips last month. From her beautiful Emilia Wickstead lace wedding dress to the elegant light blue midi dress she wore at Royal Ascot 2026, Phillips has continued to wear stylish looks that fit in well with the royal family while showing her own sense of fashion. That perfect balance was on display again for her Wimbledon appearance today, where the new bride appeared to take a leaf out of Kate Middleton's stylebook by wearing an outfit from one of the Princess of Wales' favorite designers.
Harriet wore a lime-green Emilia Wickstead "Juul" dress while attending Day 10 of Wimbledon. The silk twill dress featured a windowpane check pattern in peach and blue, with a pointed collar, long sleeves, a buttoned placket, a tailored bodice, and a pleated skirt, complemented by a slim belt. She accessorized with a cream Anya Hindmarch bag, Emmy London shoes, FINLAY sunglasses, and Kiki McDonough jewelry, attending the match with her husband, Phillips. The stunning dress reportedly comes with a whopping price tag of approximately $3,557.66 (£2,660). Wickstead is also a favorite of the Princess of Wales, who has been spotted wearing her designs on several occasions, with the most recent being at a special Palace reception marking the 100th birth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II.
This isn't the first time Harriet chose to stick with the Princess of Wales style guide; for her June wedding, she partnered with Wickstead to create a custom gown that blends traditional elegance with a modern touch. After months of planning and extensive handwork, the gown was made from Italian ivory crepe, featuring a square-neck column underdress, a lace overjacket, and a dramatic three-meter train inspired by 19th-century styles. Notably, Wickstead added fine Leavers lace with a wildflower motif from the early 1900s, reflecting the native flora of Gloucestershire, significant to her and Peter Phillips' upbringing, as per Vogue.
For her Royal Ascot 2026 debut as Mrs. Phillips, she embodied the style of Kate through her outfit choices. She wore a custom baby-blue dress by Suzannah London, reminiscent of 1940s tea dresses, complemented by a monogrammed Anya Hindmarch pearl clutch and a matching hat from Jane Taylor. Her polished, pastel ensemble aligned with the broader royal family's theme, helping her integrate into their fashion circle. On the final day, she opted for a white lacy midi dress by Beulah London and shoes from Manolo Blahnik x Emilia Wickstead, further reflecting the Princess of Wales's influence in her attire.
