Prince William is reportedly looking forward to visiting the US next year for two major events: the US's 250th anniversary celebrations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He is also allegedly considering bringing his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, for what would be their first-ever trip to America. A source claims security arrangements between the UK and the US are already underway to manage potential risks and logistics. If the visit proceeds, William will be in proximity to Prince Harry, who lives in nearby Montecito.

According to The Sun, William is hoping to attend the soccer event in Los Angeles with Kate Middleton and their three children. The trip would be especially beneficial for George, who is already an enthusiastic Three Lions supporter and is reportedly excited. Meanwhile, close friends of the Duke of Sussex, who resides in LA, revealed that he may also arrive at the stadium to watch the match in person, in what would be an awkward run-in with William.

If they do end up under the same roof, royal fans hope this time it won't be a repeat of the memorial service in Norfolk for their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, when the brothers kept their distance and did not speak.

Preparations are underway for security teams to evaluate potential risks and coordinate logistics, even though the exact stadium locations won't be confirmed until the group draw on Friday. Commenting on William's plans to bring his three children, an insider shared, "Wills is planning to come to the US, and we have been told to prepare for what a trip would entail. Interactions between security services and UK/US intelligence teams are in progress."

Additionally, William and Middleton are reportedly also on Donald Trump's guest list for America's 250th anniversary celebrations, though they are not expected to bring their children. While some speculated the event might offer an opportunity for William and Harry to meet, an insider shut down the idea, telling Page Six, "Obviously, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren't working royals, so they will not be invited to any celebrations. Any invitation would have to come at the behest of the royal family themselves." Further complicating the situation is the Sussexes' tense relationship with Trump, who has openly criticized them in the past.

While George, Charlotte, and Louis are not expected to join their parents for the 250th anniversary celebrations, bringing them to the soccer match would make far more sense. The Prince of Wales has often gushed about his children's love for football, once telling The Sun, "I'm kind of hoping they'll all find their own teams in time. They don't all have to be Villa fans. I'm trying not to be biased, but obviously, they see how passionate I am about it, and they watch the matches with me. I'm trying to spread the love a little bit."
