After a fresh batch of Epstein files was released, Sarah Ferguson has once again been left scrambling to save face, reportedly leaning on others to save her dwindling reputation. A source claims she is particularly upset that one of her closest allies, Queen Camilla, has sidelined her, making the fallout more painful. Not one to back down, the former Duchess of York is said to be contemplating an explosive sit-down or memoir, becoming a 'ticking time bomb' the royals are keen to diffuse as quickly as possible.

Speaking to OK! magazine, the insider revealed that the former Duchess of York had allegedly relied heavily on the Queen as her last remaining lifeline to royal legitimacy. They spilled, "Sarah genuinely believed that Camilla would offer some form of discreet backing to her, even if it was nothing more than being seen alongside her once. To Sarah, that kind of silent endorsement would have sent a powerful signal that she was not completely cast out. When it failed to materialize, it left her feeling ghosted, exposed, and destabilized, as though the last piece of solid ground beneath her had disappeared."

Indeed, Camilla and Ferguson have a lot in common, especially sharing a passion for horses, the elite circle, and decades of social overlap. Another source discussed the fallout of their supposed friendship and said, "She [Ferguson] has been met with silence, with no warning or reasoning, and has been left to process the public fallout on her own. That sense of being abruptly discarded has intensified over time and is becoming increasingly painful."

Last year, the former Duchess had fondly spoken about the Queen's closeness with her mother, Susan Barrantes, citing it as a reason for their own friendship.

Now things have understandlby changed. Sources stressed, "She [Ferguson] is basically a ticking time bomb for the royals due to her ability to sign deals for a tell-all memoir or agree to an explosive TV sit-down with one phone call – and they know it." Reports have previously stated that because of her alleged precarious financial situation, Ferguson was desperate to write a memoir exposing devastating secrets about her ex-husband and the royal family.

Meanwhile, insiders close to Ferguson have claimed that she feels abandoned when she needs the most support. According to a source quoted in the National Examiner, "Sarah keeps saying Camilla owes her — she cannot believe she's suddenly being treated like some problem to avoid. She says she stood by Camilla through the darkest years." This sketchy dynamic has allegedly been a major point of concern for the royal family, who think the former Duchess might retaliate with stories she has collected over the years. "Sarah has enough stories to make everyone in the royal family very embarrassed, especially Charles and Camilla."
