Sarah Ferguson Is Reportedly ‘Desperate’ to Write Memoir Exposing Andrew’s ‘Secrets’
The Epstein scandal cost Sarah Ferguson not only her royal residence but also severely damaged her career prospects. Dropped from charities as a patron, her pockets are reportedly running dry. In the aftermath of the same, as per sources, Fergie is 'desperate' to repair her tattered image. An insider claimed the former Duchess of York is preparing to pen a scathing memoir about her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. To make matters worse, she also plans to expose the 'dirty secrets' of several senior royals, taking them down with her.
Speaking to The National Examiner, the insider revealed that Ferguson's alleged sharp-tongued memoir is her last resort, as she's "worried sick about money and desperate to correct what she says are a ton of falsehoods." They explained, "Sarah is an extremely savvy operator. She's still hoping to crawl her way out of this mess and somehow repair her image." Reportedly, her original plan was to pen the memoir with Mountbatten Windsor, but she's now focused on doing it alone. While many assume her book will touch upon their controversial ties to Epstein, that won't be the case. As per the source, "She'll still go into the demise of the marriage [with Andrew] and why she turned a blind eye to his womanizing."
The insider added that the former Duchess also does not intend to let the royal family go scot-free after they abandoned her in the wake of the scandal. Ferguson allegedly has 'a ton of dirty secrets' to spill about King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. These revelations would especially haunt the King, as he is reportedly said to be anxious about her possibly taking a leaf out of Prince Harry's playbook and penning a tell-all of her own. A source told the Daily Mail, "The King is a kind man, but his patience has been pushed to the limit. The last thing he wants is another Spare."
Ferguson, on the other hand, is said to be 'absolutely bereft' from the fallout surrounding her ties to Epstein. The pressure on Charles to distance the monarchy from his brother's and sister-in-law's scandals led to the former Duke and Duchess of York being banished from Royal Lodge, which they've called home since 2008. A royal insider spilled, "She's [Ferguson] contrite and embarrassed, but also fears the scandal has fatally damaged her business interests, including several new fictional books that are due to come... People don't want to be associated with her anymore."
Interestingly, while his ex-wife is allegedly intent on sparing no limits, Mountbatten Windsor is reportedly not very keen to write a memoir. As per The Sun, insiders revealed that he has explicitly promised he won't be pulling a Harry on Charles. Meanwhile, Ferguson's past works, My Story in 1996 and Finding Sarah in 2011, have revealed her side of life in the royal fold, financial woes, and personal reinventions.
