Prince William was reportedly the driving force behind punishing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor for his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, ultimately stripping him of his royal titles. Now, it appears the Prince of Wales has his sights set on six other royals who could face a similar fate. Far stricter than his father, William is said to have little patience for those who bring disrepute to the Crown, with insiders claiming his sole motive is to protect the institution and the monarchy itself. As he looks ahead, the future king is carefully weighing his next move.

Mountbatten-Windsor’s association with Epstein was first exposed six years ago, leading to his removal from royal duties and public rebuke. However, sources suggest the most devastating blow came after William decided to take a firm and uncompromising stand. Once he ascends the throne, William reportedly has no intention of easing up and is determined to remove non-working royals or those who, in his view, no longer justify their titles. According to the Scottish Daily Express, the Prince is comfortable with a slimmer monarchy and is already drawing up plans to effectively “fire” the next six.

Royal aides have pointed to a historical precedent dating back to 1917, when King George V issued Letters Patent restricting the titles of “prince” and “princess” to the children of the sovereign and the children of their sons. This decree explains why Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Andrew’s daughters, hold royal titles, while Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne, does not. Reportedly Letters Patent have been issued, and the future King's next targets will be his cousins, Beatrice and Eugenie, who as of now have King Charles' protection, but for how much longer?

Following his mission, the Prince might also take away titles from his baby brother, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, their kids, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet. "It wasn't 'personal' towards any specific royal, but was instead about updating the monarchy to improve public clarity and ensure financial accountability," shared Radar Online. William plans to draw his conclusion based on the defined line between working royals and those who are private family members.

While Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are regular fixtures at family gatherings, they do not undertake official duties on behalf of the Crown. Which doesn't contribute to anything for the crown. Both sisters also maintain lucrative private careers, which critics say further blur the distinction. "Titles aren't merely symbolic – they come with responsibilities. Reducing them is part of a wider effort to modernise the institution," explained a source.

While there are murmurs about him taking strict action against the Sussexes, ShutterScoop added, “By the time William takes the throne, the Sussex brand will be so diminished it won’t even matter. Why take away something that’s already worthless?” Harry will forever be his blood, but other than that, they are not important. "William sees no strategic threat from Harry and Meghan anymore. The power they once had? The global fascination? The shiny-new-royal-rebels energy? Gone," concluded the source.
