Prince William and Kate Middleton undoubtedly had a busy year, yet amid packed schedules and royal responsibilities, they still found time to create cherished memories, both in service and as a family. In that spirit, the Prince and Princess of Wales recently shared a never-before-seen photo carousel, capturing some heartfelt moments from their royal duties. While some of the pictures show the couple fully immersed in their work, others reveal a lighter, more playful side, highlighting their easy chemistry and natural warmth with the public.

William and Middleton's Instagram carousel opens with a somber image of the couple lighting candles to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day. The January 27 event saw them join UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Jewish community leaders at a service held at London's Guildhall, also marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps. The second photo captures Middleton during a February visit to an Action for Children Mother and Baby Unit at HMP Styal, highlighting her continued advocacy for early childhood development. In the March photo, she is seen engaging warmly with members of the Irish Guards at the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The fun slideshow also includes more playful moments, such as the Princess of Wales peering through binoculars on the Isle of Mull in April, and the Prince of Wales and his eldest son, Prince George, charming a veteran during a VE Day tea party in May. June brings a candid image of King Charles and Princess Anne in conversation with a smiling William, followed by a July snapshot of Middleton presenting an award to tennis star Jannik Sinner at the Wimbledon Championships. August and September proved especially memorable for the couple, with photos capturing them undertaking a prominent royal role as they stood ready to welcome President Trump, approaching the Marine One.

Following Trump's high-profile UK visit, October features William on the way to attend an audience with Estonian President Alar Karis. November and December highlight the Prince's playful side, capturing him laughing during a volleyball match and sharing drinks and good humor with young soldiers at the Welsh Guards' Christmas party. Notably absent from the carousel was Middleton's touching duet with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, at her Together at Christmas carol service, likely because the moment had already been shared by their team just days before the slideshow was released.

As for William and Middleton's jam-packed year, 2025 proved especially meaningful, as it saw the couple finally move into their 'forever home,' Forest Lodge, in November. After enduring a difficult period at Adelaide Cottage, marked by Queen Elizabeth's death and Middleton's cancer diagnosis, the family reportedly chose to leave those painful memories behind and embrace a fresh start with their three children. Another deeply heartfelt moment came in January, when the Princess announced she was in remission from cancer following preventative treatment and a step back from public duties in 2024.
