Meghan Markle has faced a lot of public scrutiny ever since she married into the royal family and then left that life behind. She has also found herself at the center of AI-related controversies on several occasions, largely due to speculation and misinformation. Speaking of the most recent incident, the Duchess of Sussex shared a short video clip of her son, Prince Archie, skiing along with his dad, Prince Harry, on the snow-covered slopes, and this video sparked rapid debate just minutes after being posted. Many social media users pointed out some minor visual details and argued that it was artificially generated, while others debunked the theory.

One X user, who goes by the username @Destine50, wrote, “Much more likely she is to post a video of random people skiing and is claiming that they are Haz and Archie.” Similarly, another person, @DoraDedham, wrote, “What adorable? It's the back of some kid skiing, or maybe an AI animation of some kid skiing.” A third X user, @Victori84604362, demanded proof, stating, “Let's see the proof that it's actually them.” The controversy began after viewers noticed that Harry was skiing with two poles in the video clip, but young Archie appeared without any. That small detail quickly sparked suspicion online.

However, as the negative comments grew, some fans chimed in to defend the Duchess and her family. They were quick to clarify that young children learning to ski are usually not given poles until they’ve developed proper balance, as reported by Tyla. If this is true, the explanation behind the detail being pointed out is quite simple. One social media user stated, "My girls were skiing by 3 years old. They kept their arms down at their sides, but their center of gravity was much lower than Archie's, who looks like he is still learning. So, I can see why his arms would be spread out for balance. I'm sure when he starts using poles, he'll be flailing less."

In the footage, Archie glides steadily a few meters behind his dad, who is frequently seen easing his pace as he turns to give his son some extra time to catch up. The duo was also wearing matching navy-colored ski suits and helmets. In the caption of the post, Meghan wrote, "My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud." Keeping all the controversies aside, the clip highlighted a sweet and heartwarming family moment.

Meanwhile, this ski clip surfaced on the internet just a day after Meghan was seen shopping for some toys for Archie and Princess Lilibet during her visit to a local store in Montecito, California, on April 1. As reported by People Magazine, Meghan picked up a pack of Magic Rabbit playing cards along with Magic Castle Sea Monkeys from a toy store in the Santa Barbara-area town. Speaking of this, a source said, "She was picking up Easter gifts for her kids and her godchildren. She was there for a while, talking to the staff and making selections."
