Prince Harry Just Took Another Dig at Donald Trump — Days After Mocking Him on the Colbert Show
It's no secret that Prince Harry and Donald Trump remain far from friendly, delivering their own share of sharp swipes on air. Most recently, on December 3, during a surprise appearance on The Late Show with Steven Colbert, the Duke referenced Trump's 'authoritarian' leadership while joking about the 'No King's' protests. Days later, at a British American Business Council gathering on December 5, he once again quipped that football fans must behave to 'get past ICE,' taking another dig at Trump's controversial immigration stance.

Harry was a surprise speaker at a BABC gathering in Santa Monica, hours after the World Cup draw had taken place. There, he addressed the organization's 65th anniversary lunch, interestingly, on the same day Trump attended the 2026 World Cup draw in Washington, DC. Referencing England and Scotland's qualification for next year's tournament, he said, "Next year, I know we are looking forward to welcoming more Brits from across the pond." Taking a sharp jibe at Trump, he quipped, "Provided they behave, and if they make it through customs, and past ICE," sparking laughter from the audience. He continued, "The British are coming, hungry for victory, and they're thirsty."
The US President has often made his stance on immigrants clear, advocating stronger deportation policies for undocumented migrants, prioritizing the removal of criminals, and recent illicit border crossers. Most recently, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been in the headlines again, as its latest anti-immigration crackdown has taken effect, prompting ICE officers to ramp up raids nationwide. Both Harry and Markle have criticized his stringent policies and dictator-like leadership, even indirectly endorsing Joe Biden during the 2020 US presidential election. In a TIME 100 video, the royal couple urged citizens to 'reject hate speech,' with Markle dubbing it the "most important election of our lifetime."
Meanwhile, Harry's barbed dig came just two days after his surprise appearance on Colbert's show, where he had poked fun at Trump's strict leadership. During the segment, he walked on stage and said, "I really thought this was the audition for the Gingerbread Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska." He joked that he once had considered acting because he knew how 'obsessed' Americans were with royalty and holiday movies. After Colbert brushed that aside, the Duke delivered his punchline, "Really? I heard you elected a king," provoking a mixture of laughter and booes from the audience. He was subtly referring to the 'No Kings' protest in the US.
Unsurprisingly, Trump has not been kind to Harry either, delivering his own insults. In a conversation with the New York Post, he spoke about Harry's potential deportation, saying, "I don't want to do that. I'll leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible." Additionally, during a sit-down with Sir Keir Starmer at his Turnberry golf resort on July 28, he took another jibe at Harry and Markle, saying, "I think the UK is very lucky; you could have people who weren't great people. I don't know if I can say that, but you could have people that weren't."
